As we all move forward and start to venture out again I am reminded why I did this.
I enjoy bringing people together, I enjoy playing Music.
My tribute nights have been very popular aound Melbourne.
I am also in the Tom Petty and Johnny Cash cover band Petty Cash.
For the past 20 years I have also assisted many venues around Melbourne getting Open Mic night’s up off the ground. Providing a relaxed space for people to get on stage and perform, especially first timers. It can be a great tool for venues to ‘audition’ acts and provide them with a ‘paid’ gig. I work at maintaining the integrity of the artist and I liase with the venu to protect the rights of all performers, the booking and promotion of the nights and acts involved and the sound engineering on the night.
I am also an Allied Health Therapist as sound so for me has a therapeutic side to it not, just as entertainment. I work in the Disability, Hospital and Aged Care services around Melbourne and Regional Victoria and for some of the biggest service providers out there.
